You can hear it if you dock on a sandbar and put it on the dash. Like us, it saves the boat’s battery. At low speeds, you can still hear it, but it is less enjoyable, and at greater speeds, the engine and wind noise will drown it out. Thank you.
I’m not sure because I just got it. I took it to a party last week and used it for over 5 hours. After that, it had 60% battery left. I agree with JVF…why that’s I chose this model. My current speaker does this, which annoys me because it stops the music when a call comes in (then I fumble to turn off the BT on my phone so I can answer the call, without everyone within 100ft ease dropping).
