POWER: An extraordinarily powerful, high torque motor with a gear drive is used in this application. SLICING: The food carrier is tilted to allow for quick and effective slicing. When the device is not in use, a specific button locks the food carriage in the locked position, preventing access to the blade. The cantilever design of the food carriage and the tilted large-capacity food carriage allow for rapid and efficient cutting. To make cleaning easier, the food carrier, food pusher, food deflector, and thickness guide may all be removed. Power surge protection is provided via a safety fuse located at the base of the slicer. Model 601, a recommended blade sharpener, is available. It is made of plastic, yet it is incredible. We used to have a slicer that cost approximately $100 (I can’t remember the name), but practically every time the meat came into contact with the blade, the gear would skip, making it a real pain to operate. We now have this model, which is really incredible. It basically cuts as quickly as you can get the meat through the machine to cut it. It’s fantastic!

To feed an object into the slicer, you must move the carriage out to a distance of about 10 inches between its handle and the surface of the blade, as seen in the image below. As an example, you could cut anything 10 inches in diameter to make a 10-inch slice of something. You could perhaps produce a longer slice, but then you’d have to put the food into the machine by hand and keep an eye on your fingers…

When it comes to cleaning, the 615 is quite simple to disassemble. Laughing, I have 5 thumbs when it comes to mechanical engineering, and even I have no trouble with the subject matter. It’s not a difficult piece of equipment to operate. What kind of person would use a food slicer to chop a shoe heel? “Use the correct tool and use it properly,” says a famous saying on the proper use of tools. Alternatively, phrases to that effect. I believe it to be one of the most well-designed slicers available. This is especially true for the money.
